Uno de mis objetivos de año nuevo, es continuar con mi desarrollo por medio de la lectura. Para ello estoy pensando en releer los libros que me han parecido relevantes y agregar algunas nuevas lecturas. Aunque no solo limitarme a ello, sino explorar la escucha de podcast que toque temas que me ayuden a crecer intelectualmente (también he comenzado a escuchar algunos podcasts de humor, lo cual me ha ayudado a conectar más con mis seres queridos, ya que ellos también los escuchan, y a reducir los niveles de estrés, pero eso sería un tema aparte).

El primer libro con el que me he enganchado este año es “Emprendedor 10%” de Patrick J. McGinnis, el cual me gustaría mucho recomendarles para su lectura. Creo que algunos puntos importantes de la lectura son los siguientes:

1. Rompe con los estereotipos, invita al lector a no limitarse con una sola elección. Al igual que la diversificación de las inversiones en la bolsa, te enseña diversos caminos para diversificar tu carrera profesional.
2. Explica cuáles son los tipos de inversionistas 10%… porque no todos tienen las mismas oportunidades, intereses o tiempo de invertir en su 10%. Conocerlos te invita a buscar en cuál (o cuáles) son los apropiados para ti.
3. Te lleva de la mano para convertirte en un emprendedor 10%… aún si ya eres emprendedor puedes descubrir que puedes emprender al 110%. Así que realmente el libro es para todos.

Los invito a adentrarse en esta interesante lectura, seguramente encuentran entrevistas, programas, podcasts o muchos otros recursos del mismo autor… solo es cuestión de interesarse, buscarlo y comenzar a aprender la forma de diversificar tu carrera profesional.

Entrepreneur 10%

One of my New Year’s goals is to continue my development through reading. For this, I am thinking of reading again the books that have seemed relevant to me and adding some new readings. Although not just limiting myself to that, but exploring listening to podcasts that talk about topics that help me grow intellectually (I have also started listening to some humorous podcasts, which has helped me connect more with my loved ones, since they too listen to them, and to reduce stress levels, but that would be a separate topic).

The first book I’ve gotten on this year is “The 10% Entrepreneur” by Patrick J. McGinnis, which I would very much like to recommend you to read. I think some important points from the reading are as follows:

1. Breaks with stereotypes, invites the reader not to be limited by a single choice. Like the diversification of investments in the stock market, it teaches you different ways to diversify your professional career.
2. Explain what the types of 10% investors are… because not everyone has the same opportunities, interests or time to invest in their 10%. Knowing them invites you to look for which one (or which ones) are appropriate for you.
3. It takes you by the hand to become a 10% entrepreneur… even if you are already an entrepreneur, you may discover that you can become a 110% entrepreneur. I believe this book is for everyone.

I invite you to deep dive into this interesting reading, surely you will find interviews, programs, podcasts or many other resources by the same author… it’s just a matter of being interested, looking for him and starting to learn how to diversify your professional career.
