Te quiero contar lo que ha ocurrido recientemente en mi vida y también quiero hacerte la invitación a lograr un cambio positivo en tu círculo cercano.

Apenas hace unas semanas yo no tenía la idea que recibiría una invitación por parte de la OMLID (Organización Mundial de Líderes) para recibir un Doctorado Honoris Causa. Lo primero que me vino a la mente fue ¿por qué a mí? Y lo segundo fue ¿qué significa eso de Honoris Causa?

Comencemos resolviendo la segunda duda. Recibir un Doctorado Honoris Causa es símbolo del reconocimiento a una persona que, por su trayectoria y acciones, es reconocida como Doctor por alguna institución o universidad. Desconozco si el proceso es estándar en todas las instituciones, en mi caso fue la recomendación de uno de los doctores del claustro lo que comenzó todo el proceso. Al pasar los primeros filtros ellos me contactaron para recibir más documentos y poder dar un veredicto final. La razón por la que me han reconocido ha sido por cumplir mi propósito de vida, compartir lo aprendido y apoyar el desarrollo de las personas a mi alrededor, esto último responde la primera pregunta que me hice.

Honestamente, aún no lo creo, para mi este reconocimiento no ha sido solo para mí, es también para todos aquellos que me han apoyado en mis locuras y han sido parte de mis locuras. Sin las personas a mi alrededor no hubiera sido posible que alguien se fijara en lo que estoy haciendo, así que gracias a todos, también a ti si estás leyendo esto porque eres parte de todo esto.

Por último, te invito a que tú también hagas un cambio positivo en las personas cercanas alrededor tuyo, existen muchas personas y asociaciones que te pueden facilitar esta actividad, puedes incorporarte a alguna de sus iniciativas. O tal vez quieras comenzar en casa, mejorando la comunicación que tienes con tu familia y amigos haciéndola más continua y con un lenguaje positivo.

Todos podemos causar un impacto positivo, muchos podríamos no buscar el reconocimiento público, pero tal vez te sorprendas y en un futuro alguien más que haya leído esto también sea reconocido con otro Honoris Causa.

I want to tell you what has happened recently in my life and I wanted to invite you to make a positive change in your close circle.

Just a few weeks ago, I had no idea that I would receive an invitation from OMLID (World Leaders Organization) to receive an Honorary Doctorate. The first thing that came to mind was why me? And the second thing was, what does that Honorary mean?

Let’s start by solving the second question. Receiving a Honorary Doctorate is a symbol of recognition to a person who, due to his/her career and actions, is recognized as a Doctor by an institution or university. I do not know if the process is standard in all institutions, in my case it was the recommendation of one of the faculty doctors that started the whole process. After passing the first filters, they contacted me to receive more documents and be able to give a final verdict. The reason they have recognized me has been for fulfilling my life purpose, sharing what I learned and supporting the development of the people around me, this last statement is the answering the first question I asked myself.

Honestly, I still do not believe it, for me this recognition has not been only to me, it is also for all those who have supported me in my crazy things and have been part of my crazy things. Without the people around me, it would not have been possible for someone to notice what I am doing, so thanks to everyone, also to you if you are reading this because you are part of it.

Finally, I invite you to make a positive change in those close to you too, there are many people and associations that can facilitate this activity and you can join any of their initiatives. Or maybe you want to start at home, improving the communication you have with your family and friends by making it more continuous and with positive language.

We can all make a positive impact, many of us may not seek public recognition, but you may be surprised and in the future, someone else who has read this would also be recognized with another Honorary Doctorate. You can.
