La semana pasada tuve la oportunidad de asistir a la presentación ante la prensa y a la segunda función de una puesta en escena que me ha resultado impactante, tanto por el contenido de la misma obra como por la pasión que han puesto las personas que dan vida a la obra; me refiero a FRANKENSTEIN. Esta historia fue publicada en 1818 siendo Mary Shelley la autora de la misma, fue en 2011 cuando la obra se estrena en Inglaterra con el libreto de Nick Dear y ahora la Ciudad de Toluca tiene el honor de ser la primera ciudad donde se presenta la traducción al español.

En la presentación de la obra la directora de escena nos hizo el siguiente comentario:

“La propuesta que estamos haciendo es tratar de humanizar al que está allá (el público), hacerlo que se levante de su sillón, que deje Netflix un rato, venir, trasladarse a un lugar, sentir las calles, sentir a la gente, sentarse en una butaca, tener este esfuerzo de pagar un boleto, de invertir en su reflexión, en su entretenimiento, en la producción artística de su ciudad, esa es la gran apuesta y el atrevimiento de Culturarte…” Betsa del Valle, directora de la obra.

Yo personalmente me sentí muy identificado por este objetivo, la humanización del público por medido de un contenido inteligente. Desde el año pasado he tratado de hacer una mejor selección de los contenidos que veo, leo y escucho, pues los mismos nos van transformando como personas y nos dan una perspectiva distinta de la vida. Definitivamente la obra es un contenido muy recomendable, ya que el objetivo expresado por la directora es llevado a cabo.

Si viven en Toluca y tienen la oportunidad de ver la obra por favor asistan a alguna de las funciones, si no es así por favor estén atentos a la gira que también han prometido hacer en otras ciudades del país.

Last week I had the opportunity to attend the presentation to the press and the second performance of a staging that I found impressive, both for the content of the work itself and for the passion that the people who give life to the play; I mean FRANKENSTEIN. This story of Mary Shelly was published in 1818, in 2011 the play was released in England with the libretto from Nick Dear and now the City of Toluca has the honor of being the first city with the translation to Spanish.

In the presentation of the play, the stage director made the following comment:

«The proposal we are doing is to try to humanize the one who is there (the public), to get him out of his chair, to leave Netflix for a while, to come, to move to a place, to feel the streets, to feel the people, to sit down in an armchair, to have this effort to pay a ticket, to invest in his reflection, in his entertainment, in the artistic production of his city, that is the great bet and daring of Culturarte …» Betsa del Valle, Director.

I felt identified by this objective, the humanization of the public by intelligent content. Since last year, I have tried to make a better selection of the contents I see, I read and listen, because they are transforming us as people and give us a different perspective on life. Definitely, this play is a highly recommended content, since the objective expressed by the director is accomplished.
